Narcotics Cabinets and Medical Storage

Narcotic cabinets typically have two locks. Medical or security storage cabinets can sometimes be used for narcotics storage if the lock to the pharmacy is considered lock number one and the lock on the cabinet is considered lock number two. Each municipality has their own rules. Please check with your local Board of Pharmacy to determine the requirements for your location.
